Amigas Brunch Table Decor DIY
My favorite meals are always during brunch! Who doesn't love brunch during the spring, refreshing drinks with friends and eating delicious food is the best. Especially when you get to catch up with friends!
I need to do that more often, sometimes we focus too much on work that we need a day off just to breathe and feel relaxed. Ill be hosting one really soon! I'll make sure to post pictures for you guys to see all the meals that I will be preparing, which will be including some of my recent recipes that I have posted.
In the mean time, I came up with this cute setup to show you how easy and inexpensive it is to decorate your table with a few DIYs and dollar tree items you will even be able to add a little gift for your guests, that course I offer in my online Shop!
When I styled this table I had in mind vibrant colors that reminded me of Mexico mixed with raw decor. I added the Frida Key chain and Frida Pocket Mirror . I sprayed the cans with different colors representing the art and uniqueness. This table set up can be for your bridal party or brunch for your amigas! You will be the best Host ;D

I wanted fun color mini vases for my table so I decided to spray paint cans to give it a fun look!
I tried Valspar Spray Paint and I will be honest I did not like it at all. It did the job and colors were vibrant by applying 3-4 coats but it does drip. For bigger projects I wouldn't recommend.
I will stick with my Krylon it just works the best for me I've used it in bigger projects and no drips! I like purchasing mine from Walmart they have a big selection.
Make sure if you have a little helper 🐶 to stand far when you are spraying the cans. This one follows me EVERYWHERE so I had to make sure he was further back. The wind can blow away paint.
You would need:
- Spray Paint Color of your choice. For Ombré effect you would need two colors
- 4 Cans
- hydrangeas or your choice of flowers
Steps:
You don't have to purchase four colors of spray paint you can always get two and flip the colors. I placed the cans with the opening side down. I sprayed each can one solid color first.
After they dried I added the second color over. Make sure you get the top fully sprayed (the pink for example) once you get to the middle just spray lightly to get the Ombré effect. I had an extra can to practice first since I only had 5 cans I didn't want to ruin my main 4.
I did let them dry for about 2 hours just because I didn't want to get any paint on my runner.
I added one bundle (about 3 stems) of white hydrangeas to give the table a fresh look and the colors of the vases popped out more with white flowers. You can use any white flowers I personally loved how the hydrangeas drop around the vase.

For the paper flowers I chose Hot Pink. This is one of my favorite tissue paper colors that
I love working with. The color is so bright and beautiful! You can choose any color that will match your plates. My theme was to style this table with Vibrant mixed colors that remind me of Mexico and I added a Frida Key chain and Frida Pocket Mirror on top of the paper flowers for each guest.
You would need:
- 4 Sheets of Tissue Paper
- Twine
- Sciccors
Steps:
Lay out your tissue paper open make sure you have four layers. Cut into 6 pieces or depending on guest I had a table of 6.
Fold in and out
You will end up with an accordion :)
Tie it all together with twine
Open up like a fan and start to pull one layer at a time away from you
Other items I used:
- IKEA Blue splatter plate (sold out) I found similar plates Small 6.5 & large 9.2 in
- Silverware is vintage
I really love how this table turned out! Remember look around your home you will always have things laying around that can incorporate in your table. Have fun with it! you don't always have to match find different colors that can go together. Neutrals always go well with vibrant Colors!
xo,
Carmen :)
